This class has been designed to offer the best and most practical self-defense techniques for the average woman in realistic assault situations. All students receive hands-on training.  Students will learn: prevention, boundary setting, verbal and physical defense, and the importance of voice, confidence and awareness.  Age-appropriate safety issues, acquaintance assault and stranger defense will be discussed. Physical self-defense techniques will be practiced. This class is taught by Tracie Arlington, black-belt and nationally certified instructor for the “Women’s Self Defense Institute. Every student will be required to bring a signed waiver to class. Scouts attending without a troop leader must have an adult present. No charge for parents to observe.
